Alexander Graham Bell
Alexander Graham Bell is the man who invented the telephone he invented many other usful things too. He had an amazing life being a teacher for the deaf and inventing stuff. He isn't just known for the telephone he is known for him and who he is and how he helped us with his inventions.
Childhood
Edinburgh, Scotland. In 1858 a friend comes over and has the middle name as Graham and Alexander thought that that was a cool middle name so he picked his middle name to be Graham. In 1862 Alexander travles to London to live with his grandfather.
Being A Teacher
In 1863 Alex teaches his first class at Weston House Academy in Elgin,scotland. Alex teaches speech to the deaf in 1868 at Susanna E. Hull's school for deaf children in London. 1871 Alex moves to Boston and teaches the Boston school for deaf. In 1872 Alex opens his own school of vocal physiology in Boston and begins working on a multiple telegraph. Later Alexander meets 6 year old Helen Keller.
Inventing The Telephone
Alexander gets and idea for the telephone and meets Tomas Watson in 1874. In 1875 Alex forms formal partnership with Gardiner Greene Hubbard and Tomas Sanders. In 1876 the first words were spoken on the telephone they were "Watson come here I need to talk to you." Later in 1877 Alex marries Mable Hubbard and forms the Bell telephone compony with eatly backers. Alex settles with Western Union for rights to the telephone. In 1880 Alex wins French volta prize for scientific achievement.
Death
